Traffic Jams Plague Recovery Efforts

adminOctober 1, 2022October 7, 2024

As the citizens of North Port keep pushing forward with recovery efforts, an influx of traffic has slowed down supplies into the city. These supplies are crucial to aid the battered and bruised victims of Hurricane Ian. The City of North Port is working closely with County and State officials and said aid will continue to come into North Port once it gets through traffic. While traffic is slowing one phase of the aid, evacuation efforts continued by boat. Volunteers, First Responders and Government Officials have continued to work late into the night since the storm.
